چکیده
For reducing the energy use of buildings, application insulation materials can be a possible solution to improve efficiency. However, with continuously tightening regulations, thicker and thicker insulations should used (e.g., up to 20–25 cm in Hungary about 40–50 Nordic countries) to fulfil directives. In past decades, developmental research started focus on both decreasing the thickness decreasing thermal conductivity parallels. With this direction, the investigations new type took place. The having thermal conductivity less than 0.020 W/mK spread over. These are so-called super insulation materials. Besides Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIPs), aerogel-based belong group, too. This paper will present laboratory tests executed two altered types protected Insulation Panels: one side 2 VIP, also called Sandwich (VIS). first one, ‘‘A” contains 20 mm thick laminated fumed silica, covered 10 expanded polystyrene side, while ‘‘B” was where silica core was packed between EPS slabs. Firstly, performance investigated by guarded hot-box method for U-value, samples were placed solid brick wall. Furthermore, VIPs tested with Hukseflux heat flux plates. To reveal applicability limits caused bridges infrared thermography images (IR) taken, too. From measurement results, theory was formed regarding flow directions inside encapsulated panels. current article emphasizes the equivalent assessment protection vacuum insulation states that using at least, 70% reduction reached Uvalue compared value solid brick Moreover, points out EPS protection layer sides VIP has promising effect bridges. Furthermore, slabs results thermal conductivity.

Investigation of Long-Term Thermal Insulation Performance of Vacuum Insulation Panels with Various Enveloping Methods
To practically apply vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) to buildings or home appliances, VIPs have demanded long-term lifespan with outstanding insulation performance. Service lives of VIPs enveloped with Al-foil and three-layer Al-metallized envelope are calculated. For Al-foil envelope, the service life is longer but edge conduction is too large compared with the Al-metallized envelope. To incre...

The loss of energy especially in industrial and residential buildings is one of the main reasons of increased energy consumption. Improving the thermal insulation properties of materials is a fundamental method for reducing the energy losses. Polymeric foams are introduced as materials with excellent thermal insulation properties for this purpose. In the present study, a deep theoretical invest...
متن کاملA simple and effective model for prediction of effective thermal conductivity of vacuum insulation panels
The excellent thermal insulation performance of vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) make them widely applied in energy conservation fields, especially in buildings engineering. This research work proposes a simple, yet extremely effective, alternative model for prediction of the effective thermal conductivity (ETC.) of VIPs. The ETC. of VIPs is function of the thermal conductivity of the core mater...
